In the final game of the 2026 Naperville ULAX regular season, the Shamrocks were taking on the Montini Mafia. Montini was looking for their first win of the season while the Shamrocks needed a huge win to maybe sneak into the playoffs. Both teams were having fun in their final game as they knew this would most likely be their last time together this season. Rivera was on fire like usual, as the league leader in saves continued his waves with 9 more. Senese on the other side was giving Rivera a run for his money with 9 saves himself. For Montini Mafia, they hung around all game, as Joseph scored a goal on a beautiful feed from Baumgartner to bring it within one. But the Shamrocks offense proved to be too much as Carberry scored his third goal of the game to lock in a 7-5 win for the Shamrocks. Don't think it was enough, but a valiant effort from the Shamrocks as they finish the season 3-3. Thanks to all the players, officials and fans for an incredible 2026 regular season for Naperville ULAX. 198 players on 8 teams as our biggest and most competitive league had non-stop action for six straight weeks. We are on to the playoffs in week 7. Good luck to our four teams who made the playoffs (Mild Cats, Southside Birds, Grove Dynasty, Nightcrawlers) and a spcecial thank you to the four team who battled all summer but ended up a little short (Shamrocks, Valhalla Vikings, Tigeons, Montini Mafia). Until next year.

In game 3 of the final week of the regular season the Southside Birds were looking to remain undefeated against the scrappy Valhalla Vikings team who despite having a 1-4 records, are +1 in scoring this season. The Southside Birds came out of the gates swinging as they scored 5 seconds into the game and didn't look back. They had the ball zipping around with beautiful ball movement as they scored goal after goal, taking a 10-3 lead into the half. The second half was much of the same, as Largen finished with 3 goals 2 assists and Quaid added a hat trick himself as the Southside Birds finished off the Valhalla Vikings 16-8. The Birds lock in a playoff spot and will most likely be the two seed and take on Grove Dynasty next week in the semi-finals.

Grizz battled until the end, but the Red Hook Boys came out on top tonight after a gritty performance. Mike Mrzyglod led the way with 4 goals, and goalie Louis Katz made a total of 7 saves. Grizz had a total of 7 different goal scorers and goalie Christian Hunt made some huge saves in big moments.
