TOURNAMENT MVP: BYE WEEK - RYAN ELLIOTT

Championship teams need someone who can slam the door when it matters most, and Ryan Elliott delivered all weekend for Bye Week.

Elliott was outstanding between the pipes throughout the tournament. He saved some of his best work for the biggest moments, helping lead Bye Week all the way to the championship and a thrilling 7-6 overtime victory over the Aspen Kings in the final.

In a tournament filled with close games and outstanding goalie play, Elliott consistently came up with the saves his team needed when the margin for error was at its smallest.

The Ohio Power Rankings are here, highlighting the top teams from 22 Men’s clubs and 11 Women’s clubs competing across the state this summer.

The East Coast Ballers continued their dominance in the state by winning the elite division in Cleveland. Though BBQ Chicken is not far behind. This was an exciting championship that could have tilted either way. In CBUS, we saw regular season #2 seed, Tiger’s Wood, claim the Championship in a close finals match up against the favored and undefeated Crusader’s. We’d love to see these top squads duke it out in our national championship tournament because there’s no doubt that OH Lax is among North America’s best. lLet’s also not forget about the Hog Rider’s who quietly and methodically took Cincy.

On the women’s side, the Goal Diggerz took the top spot, but don’t sleep on Cleveland, This if For You, who at 1-5 in the regular season, made a playoff run worthy of LeBron.

The Goerne Cup is a memorial tournament honoring Michael Goerne, a driven individual and dedicated lacrosse player who suddenly and tragically lost his life in February 2019 at age 37.

The New York Women’s Power Rankings are here, highlighting the Top 10 of 24 teams competing across ULAX leagues throughout the Empire State this summer. 🗽🥍

Top Cheddar takes the No. 1 spot after emerging from ULAX’s deep 11-team Buffalo field to capture the championship. Jokers check in at No. 2 after winning the NYC title and adding a Liberty Cup championship to their 2026 résumé, including a win over the reigning 2025 ULAX National Champion Wild Cards.

Rochester champion Big Dill lands at No. 3, followed by Nassau County champion South Shore Snipes at No. 4. Buffalo finalist Vengeance rounds out the Top 5.

Buffalo Clovers, East Coast Cougars, Goal Diggers, the bobs and Turf Monsters complete a Top 10 featuring teams from each of ULAX’s women’s markets across New York State.

With several of New York’s top teams earning Nationals bids, we’re hoping to see a strong Empire State contingent in Las Vegas for the ’27 ULAX National Championship — where some of these teams may finally get the chance to settle things on the field.

Rankings consider overall record, quality of wins, head-to-head results, strength of competition, margin of victory and playoff performance.
