In our night cap of week 5 we had the undefeated Mild Cats taking on the 0.500 Shamrocks. It was another game of low numbers as both teams had about 4 subs by the time the game got going. The Mild Cats held a 1-0 lead about 10 minutes into the game thanks to a plethora of saves by Senese in cage for the Shamrocks. Late in the first half the Mild Cats opened up the scoring and took a 7-0 lead into halftime. Massat scored their first goal for the Shamrocks halfway through the second half but the Mild Cats were too much as their offense exploded for a 15-1 victory to remain undefeated. The Cats were led by a trio on offense as Doctor finished with 2 goals 6 assists, Maluta 1 goal 5 assists, and Works 5 goals 2 assists. With only one week of the regular season left, the Birds and Cats have secured their playoff spots, who will take the final two playoff positions in a battle between the Grove Dynasty, Nightcrawlers and Shamrocks? Only time will tell.

Our third game of the week 5 had the undefeated Southside Birds taking on the Grove Dynasty. Both teams only had 4 subs on the bench as players seemed to be MIA. The Grove Dynasty looked powerful early as they took a 4-0 lead thanks to 2 goals from Polivka and 1 goal 2 assists from Bauer with 10 minutes left in the first half. It was all Southside Birds after that as they scored 9 unanswered goals and came away with the 9-4 win. Lacksonen had 9 saves in cage for the Birds, shutting out the Grove Dynasty for the last 35 mintues of the game and Son finished with a hat trick to help the Southside Birds remain undefeated.

Grizz controlled all game tonight, with goals from 6 different players. Owen Scannell and Eric Soderquist both netted two goals. Cradle Rockers had their goals scored by three different players and CJ Alessandri totaled 5 saves on the night.

The Nightcrawlers and Tigeons kicked off our second game of Week 5 of the Naperville ULAX league. The Tigeons were playing some of the best team lacrosse we have seen this season as they took an early 3-0 lead. After that, the game was back and forth, as teams traded goals from 6-5 at halftime, all the way to being tied 9-9 late in the fourth. In the end the Nightcrawlers came back and got the 11-9 win thanks to 4 goals from Lane, 3 goals 1 assist from Nashalman & a great showing in cage with 10 saves from Johnson.

An overtime victory for the Red Hook Boys! #33 Mike Mrzyglod was the hero, capping off a three-goal performance. Both goalies made crucial saves at the tail end of the game.

In our first game of week five, we had a.matchup between our two winless teams this season, the Valhalla Vikings and the Montini Mafia. It was a beautiful day out in Naperville, with weather in the low 80s. The Vikings came out hot and took a 6-0 lead into the half. Montini Mafia came out strong to start the second half, closing the gap and making it a 6-4 game thanks to some huge saves in cage from Rivera who finished with 13 saves. The Vikings offense was too strong late in the second half and Montini Mafia didn't have the legs, as the Valhalla Vikings get their first win in team history (1-10 all time) behind hat tricks from Baumley and Sexton. Congrats fellas.

After an even start, Snuss powders pulled away for the win tonight. Snuss powders had goals from 6 different players, and goalie Louis Katz stood tall, making 11 saves. Slide method battled until the end and were led by Duncan Breig with 2 goals.
