League History
University Lacrosse, LLC (ULAX) has provided structured league competition since its inaugural 2005-06 season. What began with six teams in a single location has grown into more than 800 teams across ~60 locations nationwide, creating a competitive pathway for clubs to test themselves at the local, regional, and national levels.
In recent years, ULAX has introduced several key updates to strengthen competition and connectivity across the league:
- 2017: League Conferences – The introduction of five conferences NALC, SALC, GLLC, MSLC, PCLC aligned leagues by geographic region, bringing neighboring states together under a single competitive structure.
- 2021: National Championship – The league established the infrastructure for the top clubs in the country to follow a pathway to the national level, bringing teams together throughout North America.
- 2023: Annual Rankings – An official Ranking Committee was introduced to evaluate team performance and publish annual rankings of the nation's top clubs, adding transparency and structure to regional and national competition.
Team History
Teams across the league have competed for local and regional titles with the opportunity to earn bids to the National Championship. Over the years, this competition has brought out the best, highlighting the hard work, talent, teamwork, and commitment that define the league. The teams that have participated represent a long-standing culture of camaraderie and dedication, built through seasons of structured, competitive play at every level.
Player History
Over the years, the league has featured a wide range of talented players, including current and former NCAA and professional athletes. Alongside top-tier talent, the league remains open and welcoming to players of all skill levels, offering a competitive and structured environment for anyone looking to play the game.
