Harlem Lacrosse defeated the Aviators 7-5, with Garcia and Figueroa leading the scoring. Harlem's defense contained Krish to just one goal, while Puglisi's all-around play was a highlight for the Aviators, but not enough to secure the win.

Aviator Beach Club clinched a close 6-5 victory against the Privateers. Crish led the way with 3 goals, while Grimaldi made 3 crucial saves to seal the win.

In a dominant performance, the Privateers sailed past the Brooklyn Lacrosse Club with a decisive 14-5 victory. Leading the charge was Baugh, who dropped anchor on the scoreboard with an impressive 5-goal haul, leaving Brooklyn in his wake. The Privateers' offense was relentless, while their defense kept the opposition marooned for much of the match. Brooklyn fought hard but couldn’t find a way to navigate through the storm.

Sharpshooters take the title of the inaugural Rochester ULAX Summer Champions. In a hard fight against the Lions, the Sharpshooters held their confidence during the entirety of the game. 8 different goal scorers for the Sharpshooters show the versatile offense this team has to offer. The Lions gave it all their might until the very last whistle, Benham with 4 goals this game and Shaddock with 10 saves. Great season ladies!

Top Cheddar clinched the Elite championship with a commanding 11-6 win over No Mercy.

The Rez Dogs secured the Open championship with a hard-fought 8-6 victory against the Banshees.

In an electrifying overtime showdown, the Slizzy Salamanders emerged victorious over the Gamecocks with a final score of 6-5. The game was a rollercoaster of high stakes and intense action, with both teams showcasing their exceptional skills and determination. The Salamanders, known for their strategic prowess and quick reflexes, managed to outmaneuver the Gamecocks in the final moments of the game. With just seconds left in overtime, the Salamanders executed a flawless play, sealing their win and securing their place in the championship. Fans were on the edge of their seats as the Salamanders celebrated their hard-fought victory.

In a gripping defensive battle, Team Chino held firm against the Beach Bums to secure a 6-5 victory. Team Chino dominated the first half, establishing a crucial lead with a series of strategic plays and precise shots. Despite a relentless comeback effort from the Beach Bums in the second half, Chino's defense proved impenetrable. With outstanding goalkeeper saves and key defensive stops, Team Chino managed to withstand the pressure and maintain their slim advantage. The game was a testament to both teams' resilience and tactical acumen, but it was Chino’s first-half performance and steadfast defense that ultimately earned them the win.

The Red Hook Raiders took on Seal Team Stix in the league championship and came out on top, 12-6. Johnny Soi (4g) stood out for the Raiders offensively, with Gary Robusto (2 saves) standing tall in net. Seal Team Stix went on a run fueled by Jason Goodwin (1g, 2a), but unfortunately it was not enough to push them past the Raiders. In net for Seal Team Stix, Trent Stone (5 saves) put on a solid performance.

The Lions could not be stopped this game. Benham with 5 goals and Utter tallying up 5 points during this matchup. Garrett putting up 3 points during this game for the Benchwarmers, but the Bench warmers ultimately couldn't keep up with the powerful Lions' offense and transitional play.

Sharpshooters strong offense with 8 different goal scorers. Luchetti with 4 goals and 1 assist and Fitzgerald with 1 goal and 4 assists for the Sharpshooters.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time for the battle for 3rd place! In the pink corner, we have the Rebels, reinforced by several A-Team players, ready to clash with the Cougars. The girls are set and eager to play for the bronze medal and fight one more time this season. The scoring began with the Rebels drawing first blood, a lead quickly answered by the Cougars' Crawford Fisher, aka “Craw-Fish,” and longtime player Kaitlyn “The Glass Cannon” Glass. Stellar goaltending by Melissa Semkiw and another goal propelled the Cougars to a 4-1 lead over the Rebels at the end of the first half. The second half was equally thrilling as the Rebels mounted a rally led by Jasen Smith and Gabby Rothermund, eventually tying the game at 5-5. Glass restored the Cougars' lead, and Jessica Schiefen extended it to 7-5. Each team traded goals, and as time expired, the score was locked at 8-8, necessitating overtime. After a quick draw by the Rebels and a save by Semkiw, the Rebels won a turnover on a failed clear and sealed the game in overtime. However, due to the Rebels requiring 5 players from A-Team and Banshees to fill out their squad, the official win was awarded to the Cougars. Excellent game, girls! We hope to see you all next season or in the fall!

The Big Dawgs triumphed over the Black Panthers in a tightly fought match, securing a 3-2 victory.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time! Welcome to the championship game for the Queen City! FIGHTING out of the Pink Corner, with an undefeated season record of 6 wins and 0 losses, the contenders, the Veterans, the Banshees! And their opponents, defending the belt, holding a season record of 4 wins and 2 losses, your 2023 ULAX Champions, A-TEAM! It's game time! Calling the action are officials Cammy Case and Colby Dugdale. Buckle up for what promises to be a spectacular clash between two star-studded teams. A battle of the veterans versus the young guns as the Banshees LC aim to keep their perfect season alive against last year's champions, the A-Team. The air is thick with humidity and anticipation, setting the stage for a game destined to be legendary. The action kicked off with Banshees' point leader Rachel Perrett, assisted by long-time vet Jackie Jordan, striking first. More goals followed, with Rachel Bailey connecting with Rachel Perrett, showcasing their seamless Rachel-to-Rachel connection. Despite a one-sided score, the A-Team had several shots on goal, only to be thwarted by Kellen “Iron Maiden” Lucchesi. The Banshees went on a 4-goal streak before A-Team’s Gwenna Gentle scored, ending the first half at 5-1 in favor of the Banshees. During the intermission, the A-Team strategized their adjustments while the Banshees plotted to keep feeding their playmakers. The second half saw 6’-1” Karsen Corbett, UNC Charlotte rising sophomore and A-Team point machine, scoring their second goal, making it 5-2. However, the Banshees had their own powerhouse, Rachel Bailey, who delivered a counterpunch, followed by body shots from Savannah Patton and Courtney Berk. The A-Team managed two more goals, but the Banshees were on fire. Bailey delivered the final two goals, delivering the knockout blows needed to dethrone the champs. Shout outs to Rachel Bailey with 5 goals, Rachel Perrett with 4 points, and Kellen Lucchesi with 8 saves on the night. Congratulations to both teams on an incredible season, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

No Mercy secured an 11-10 victory over Vengeance, with both teams battling fiercely until the final whistle in an evenly matched contest.

Top Cheddar displayed offensive prowess to overpower the Laxatives, cruising to an impressive 11-3 victory in a one-sided matchup.

The Banshees triumphed over the Pandas with a 6-3 victory, showcasing a solid all-around performance and maintaining control throughout the game to secure the win.

In a tightly contested lacrosse match, the Rez Dogs secured a narrow 8-7 victory over Seal Team Sticks.

In a thrilling contest, Team Turbo defeated Shake and Bake 7-4. Shake and Bake took an early 2-0 lead, but Team Turbo surged back after halftime. With strategic plays and relentless pressure, Team Turbo equalized at 2-2 and then dominated with five more goals. Despite Shake and Bake’s effort to close the gap with two additional goals, Team Turbo secured the win with a late flurry of goals. The game was a spectacular display of skill and determination, captivating fans throughout.

In a nail-biting showdown, the Beach Bums narrowly defeated the Gamecocks 8-7 in a game that was decided in the final moments. The match was a back-and-forth thriller, with both teams exchanging leads throughout. As the clock ticked down, the Gamecocks looked poised for victory, but the Beach Bums delivered a decisive play in the dying seconds to clinch the win. The dramatic finish had fans on the edge of their seats, highlighting the intensity and excitement of the game.

Ladies and gentlemen, lacrosse enthusiasts, and pun aficionados, welcome to the most anticipated event of the summer: The ULAX Heavyweight Championship of the WORLD! Or, as some might call it, the Men’s Summer League showdown. Tonight’s battle features the undefeated Coors Knights taking on the seasoned veterans, the Banktown Bandits! The Plot Twist: The Coors Knights, in their first year, have yet to taste the bitter brew of defeat. Meanwhile, the Banktown Bandits, with their treasure trove of experience, are looking to add the 2024 Championship to their legacy. The Game Unfolds: First Half Blitz: The action kicked off with a bang as the Knights won the faceoff quicker than you can say "Coors Light!" Nick Nile swiftly found the net, and team captain Jackson Watkins followed suit. With goals from Nile and Bowen Collins, the Knights galloped ahead to a 4-0 lead. Despite the Bandits' efforts, the Knights' defense, led by goalie Noah Lilli, kept the scoreboard clean. Brennon’s Breakthrough: Brennon Might of the Bandits managed to chip away at the lead with 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter, bringing it to 4-1. However, just before halftime, the Knights scored again, making it 5-1. Defensive Duel Second Half: The second half resumed with both teams showcasing their defensive prowess. Banktown’s goalie, Campbell Stack, lived up to his nickname, “Stack Attack,” with stellar saves. Beau Quick seized the moment and scored an unassisted goal, giving Banktown a glimmer of hope at 5-2. Knight's Final Charge: Despite the defensive standoff, Collins and Niles each found the back of the net once more, securing a 7-2 victory for the Coors Knights. This first-year team truly had a Sir Lancelot story, charging to victory with undeniable prowess. Player Shout-Outs: Nick Niles: 4 points (proving he's more than just a river in Egypt). Jackson Watkins: 4 points (captain fantastic!). Elijah Tracey & Campbell Stack: Combined 13 saves on 20 shots (Stack Attack in full force!). And there you have it, folks! The Coors Knights are crowned this year’s champions. It’s been an honor being your league manager, and I hope to see you all again next season. May your puns be plentiful and your goals bountiful!

The Red Hook Raiders top the Cradle Rockers 7-5 in the second game of the night. The Raiders were led on offense by a stand out performance from Kyle Meoli (4g), and were anchored in the back end by Gary Robusto (4saves). For the Cradle Rockers, Chase Benton (3g) showed out offensively. In net for the Cradle Rockers, Brandon Stedry (3 saves) started the first half, and Theo Weidinger (3 saves) took over in the second half.

In the final game of the 2024 Naperville Ulax season, the Only Mans took on the Dead Wings, a game that was cancelled last week due to storms. Dead Wings barely had enough players to play and the Only Mans dominated the whole game, coming out on top 10-7 behind hat tricks from both Potesta and Panega.

Team Chino cruised to the championship match with an 8-4 victory over the Slizy Salamanders. From the start, Team Chino showcased dominant play, establishing an early lead and never looking back. Their well-coordinated offense and solid defense overwhelmed the Salamanders, who struggled to close the gap. By the final whistle, Team Chino had secured a comfortable win, earning their spot in the championship match with a commanding performance.

Seal Team Stix faced off against the Red Hook Raiders and came out on top, 8-3. Seal Team Stix was lead by a strong offensive performance by Rylie Dejordy (3g) and Logan Gansle (2g, 1a) anchored by Trent Stone (4 saves) in net. The Red Hook Raiders started out cold, but got two points from both Kyle Meoli (2a) and Mike Mrzyglod (39). In net for the Raiders, Gary Robusto registered four saves.

The Blue Ballers came out hot with a 3-0 lead in the hot Championship game as the field temps were well into the 90s. The Mild Cats battled back and made it 3-3 as they were looking to win their second straight championship. The Blue Ballers continued to hammer away on offense and took an 8-3 lead into halftime. More of the same in the second half as the Mild Cats struggled to find the back of the net and the Blue Ballers had hat tricks from 3 players: Mattio, McLean and Metheny. Behind 7. saves from Gehl and a strong offensive performance, the Blue Ballers secured the 2024 Naperville Ulax Championship as they came out on top 13-5.

In a decisive final game, the Brewins dominated the Sharks with an 11-4 victory. From the outset, the Brewins showcased their superiority with relentless offense and tight defense. They built a substantial lead early on and continued to control the game throughout. The Sharks struggled to mount a comeback as the Brewins' impressive performance sealed their commanding win. The game was a clear display of the Brewins' strength and skill, securing their impressive victory with a resounding final score.

Despite knowing that the Championship had already been won, both the LB Dirtbags and Malibu Lacrosse Club showed up to play the great Creators Game. With the spirit of determination flowing through all players veins, no one team ever held an advantage over the other. Malibu's defense began to crack in the later second half, and using this opportunity was the Dirtbags, who scored the game winning goal, and earning themselves their second win. The final score was 5-4 in the Dirtbags favor.

After winning the gold for seven times in a row, the Chiefs were the favorite to win again. The first goal being from the Mustangs just 3 minutes in gave all players and fans foreshadowing for what was to come. At one point being trapped in the second half by a 9-6 score under the Chiefs, the outlook was grim for the Mustangs. It was the momentum from goal after goal and the phenomenal support from the fans that carried the Mustangs into overtime with a tie of 10-10. It was on Mustangs last possession, and thanks to Peter Kraemer (#20) who scored the tiebreaking goal to win his team the Championship. The final score was 11-10 in the Mustangs favor.

In an unbelievable comeback, the Coors nights are able to come back to win the game after being down at halftime. (Full recap tomorrow)

Wasted Talent upset the Boneyards with an 8-5 Victory to win the Northbrook League Championship. This marks Wasted Talent's 4th Season Victory. After mixed seasons for both teams, the Vikings faced the long-time ULAX team: Broski. After getting a great start thanks to Max Livingston's (#4) goal the Vikings, led on the field as always by their able captain Henry Jean (#1) knew they had to drive hard at the Broski defense if they wanted a chance at winning. After being stirred by a goal from their captain, the Vikings buried Broski under a 5 goal lead and never let their foot off the pedal. The final score was 6-1 in the Vikings favor.

Head start for the Lions in this game holding the Benchwarmers to only 2 goals. Uttler with 4 goals and Strelick with 3 goals and 2 assists for the Lions. Goodermote tough in net for the Bench Warmers with 8 saves this game.
