Julian grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and started playing lacrosse in his sophomore year of high school. Julian was one of the founding members of the Cheltenham High School's first ever boy’s lacrosse team. Julian then attended Montgomery County Community College where he earned an Associates Degree and then transferred to Temple University to study education.



While at Temple, Julian joined the men's lacrosse team and eventually became the team president his last year. During his year as team president he helped lead the team to an undefeated record and a NCLL National Championship. After college, Julian continued to stay involved in lacrosse by coaching youth clinics and managing/playing for ULAX Philly. In 2021, Julian because the Boy’s Program Director at Olney Middle School.
