Women's Summer Lacrosse Tourney on Randall's Island

Welcome to the ULAX Liberty Cup. Games will be played on Randall's Island in NYC on July 21st. Register with a partial/full team or as a solo free agent and we'll place you on a team (space is limited).

The Cost:

ULAX-affiliated Teams/Clubs ('23-'24): $1000

All Other Teams/Clubs: $1250

Free Agents: $90/player

Cost Includes:

Round Robin (2-3 scheduled games/team - 18-minute running halves (weather permitting))

Playoff Tourney for the top teams (18 minute running halves (weather permitting)

ULAX Tournament Jersey (required to play - unless given prior approval to wear team custom unis

Certified officials

Championship prize (e.g., shirts) for the Champs

The Format:
All teams will compete in a 2-3 game round robin on the morning of Sunday, July 21st to determine seedings with the top teams advancing to the tournament playoffs in the afternoon (tiebreaker: gf/ga differential). Each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of three games.

2024 Liberty Cup Schedule - Sunday, July 21st

Round Robin: 2-3 games/team (9am - 3pm)

Playoff Tourney for the Top Teams (3pm - 6pm) - NOTE: Tiebreaker, if any, based on gf/ga differential.

Playing with friends? Sign up as a free agent and put each other's names in the "friends who also play" section

WEATHER POLICY:
Games will be played rain or shine unless there is severe weather. We will send a tourney wide email to notify all players of any postponements/cancellations.

REFUND POLICY:
No refunds. In the event we have to cancel the tournament due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., state restrictions), we will provide a pro-rated credit based on the number of games played. No credits will be issued after two games have been played.
