Meet The Director



Neema Kassaii





The Boulder County clinic will be led by ULAX Co-Founder, Neema Kassaii. Neema was born and raised in New Jersey where he grew to love the game of lacrosse, playing and starting in goal at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes (Bergen County), NJ.



Neema went on to play college lacrosse for MCLA perennial powerhouse, University of Colorado-Boulder, where he started in goal his junior (‘05) and senior ('06) years. While attending CU-Boulder, Neema and his teammate, Tim Leonard, started ULAX with the goal of providing a safe, affordable and organized outlet to play lacrosse. After graduating from CU-Boulder, Neema went on to earn his law degree and practice law for several years before returning to ULAX full time. He is committed to continuing to grow the game of lacrosse for players of all ages and abilities.



Outside of lacrosse, Neema currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sports Business and Leadership Association (SBLA) and is also the president of the non-profit\'s Colorado Chapter. The SBLA has the core
mission of providing unique sports experiences to underprivileged youth in Colorado and throughout the United States. In addition to his love for lacrosse and sports, Neema enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife (Lisa), three daughters (Leila (8), Era (6) & Mona (3)) and Bernese Mountain Dogs (Marla & Norman). He is currently a resident of Niwot where you can regularly spot him running on the trails around town.
