Austin High School Boys Winter Box League

We are now accepting registrations for our inaugural HS boys winter box lax league in Austin (see below for registration instructions, league rules and refund policy).

    The Cost:
  • Registration Fee: $125/player (through 12/15)
  • Late Registration Fee: $150/player (after 12/15)
    • Team Registration Options: Registering with a full team? Be sure to take advantage of our "Team Flat Fee" or "Team Rebate" options.
    -"Team Flat Fee": Pay a one-time team fee for your entire team.
    -"Team Rebate": We will donate 10% of your players' standard registration fees to your program/coach (Note: "Team Rebate" not available for teams that opt for the "Team Flat Fee" option).

    The Cost Per Player Includes:
  • Team Sizes: We are shooting for 15+ players per team.
  • 5-6 Games
  • Playoffs and/or championship for the top teams
  • ULAX Jersey (required in order to play) - Custom Unis excepted if pre-approved by the league (be sure to reach out to Powell Lacrosse for your custom uni needs. Tell them ULAX sent you to receive the discounted rate!)
  • Certified official(s)
  • Photos and Stats
  • Powell's Picks MVP Awards (fueled by Powell Lacrosse)
  • Custom Team Uni Upgrade Option (fueled by Powell Lacrosse)
  • Championship prize (e.g., t-shirt) for league champs

    • High School Boys Winter Box League Tentative Schedule:
    Games will be played on the following Sundays from 9am - 3pm.
  • January 5th
  • January 12th
  • January 19th
  • January 26th
  • February 2nd
  • February 9th
  • February 16th - playoffs and/or championship
  • February 23rd (make up date if needed)

    • LEAGUE FORMAT:
  • Five Field Players per team and a Goalie
  • Field Players: Short sticks only
  • Goalie: We will provide goalies with equipment upon request (stick not included).

    Additional Registration Information:
    Join with a team, group of as a solo free agent and we'll place you on a team.
    Building your own team? Email us your team name and we'll get it up on the site for your players to begin registering.

    Playing with friends? Sign up as a free agent, enter the names of the players in your group in the "friends who also play in this league" field when registering (all players in the group must register prior to the deadline to guarantee placement on the same team).

    Signing up solo? Register as a free agent and we'll place you on a team (space is limited)

    NOTE: All players must pay via PayPal to complete registration, however, you do not need a PayPal account to do so, just have a Debit / Credit card ready when registering.

    Weather Policy:
    Games will be played rain or shine unless there is severe weather. We will send a league wide email to notify all players of any cancellations.

    Refund Policy:
    No refunds will be issued after the first registration deadline. In case we have to cancel the season due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., inclement weather), we will provide a pro-rated refund based on the number of games played. Five games constitutes a "season" - i.e. No refunds will be issued after five games.
