Who We AreUniversity Lacrosse, LLC (ULAX) was founded for collegiate and post collegiate athletes to continue playing lacrosse within a national framework. ULAX currently represents the largest lacrosse league on earth with 476 men's field teams and 8,826 men's field players participating in 2021. The men's field league is larger than NCAA D1, D2, and D3 lacrosse combined. Teams participate from forty cities. In addition to men's field lacrosse, ULAX hosts over a thousand women's field players, five hundred men's box, and are working to grow and provide youth opportunities to help grow the game.
What We DoCompetition and camaraderie are the pillars of what makes our lacrosse community among the largest in the world. Our players compete with passion each week, and ULAX provides infrastructure as well as coverage through game summaries, photos, player statistics, and national rankings. The national leaderboard ranks the top players and teams within the entire network.
Ranking SystemEach location operates for seven weeks within the spring, summer, fall, and winter. Certain locations are active multiple times throughout the year. During that time teams play each other in a predefined schedule. Within each city teams are given a 5-6 game regular season, followed by a 1-2 week playoff tournament. The league's regular season standings are based on a point system. Two points are awarded for a win, one point for losing, and zero points for a loss in regulation or overtime. Teams with the same record are then ranked based on Goals For / Goals Against differential. In the event of a tie, the team with more Goals For assumes the higher ranking.
