Welcome to the ULAX Battle at the Capital (Powered by the Austin Capitals LC). Games will be played at Westwood High School in Austin on December 2nd. Register with a partial/full team or as a solo free agent and we'll place you on a team (space is limited).

2023 Battle at the Capital Schedule - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2ND
  • Round Robin: 2-3 games/team (10am - 3pm)
  • Playoff Tourney for the Top Teams (3pm - 5pm) - NOTE: Tiebreaker, if any, based on GF/GA differential.

    • The Cost:
  • ULAX-Affiliated Teams/Clubs ('22-'23): $1,000 (through November 19th)
  • All Other Teams/Clubs: $1,250 (through November 19th)
  • Free Agents: $90/player (through November 19th)

    • Cost Includes:
  • Round Robin (2-3 games/team (18-minute running halves - weather permitting))
  • Playoff Tournament for the top teams (18-minute running halves - weather permitting)
  • ULAX Tournament Jersey (required to play - unless given prior approval to wear team custom unis)
  • Photos and Stats
  • Certified officials
  • Championship prize (e.g., shirts) for the Champs
  • Champions Team name added to the Battle at the Capital Cup!

    • The Format:
    All teams will compete in a 2-3 game round robin on the morning of Saturday, December 2nd to determine seedings; and the top teams will advance to the tournament playoffs in the afternoon of Saturday, December 2nd (tiebreaker: gf/ga differential). Each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of three games.

    Building your own team? Email us your team name and we'll get it up on the site for your players to begin registering.

    Playing with friends? Sign up as a free agent and put each other's names in the "friends who also play" section

    Signing up solo? Register as a free agent and we'll place you on a team.

    WEATHER POLICY:
    Games will be played rain or shine unless there is severe weather. We will send a tourney wide email to notify all players of any postponements/cancellations.

    REFUND POLICY:
    No refunds. In the event we have to cancel the tournament due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., state restrictions), we will provide a pro-rated credit based on the number of games played. No credits will be issued after two games have been played.
